My Engineering Journey: From Circuit Boards to Space

Short-Term Vision (Next 5 Years): Hardware Design Excellence

My immediate goal is to establish myself as a hardware engineer specializing in precision instrumentation and analog design. I'm particularly drawn to companies like Keysight Technologies and Tektronix, where my expertise in high-speed ADC/DAC systems and low-noise circuit design can contribute to next-generation test equipment. Through internships and co-op programs, I plan to gain hands-on industry experience while completing my Georgia Tech degree.

Long-Term Aspiration (10-Year Horizon): Aerospace Innovation

My ultimate ambition is to work as an avionics engineer in the aerospace industry. While citizenship requirements currently limit my opportunities with U.S. space companies, I'm strategically building skills that will be invaluable once I obtain permanent residency. My work with Yellow Jacket Space Program's Hardware-In-The-Loop testing and precision timing systems directly aligns with this goal.

Why This Path?

My journey from audio amplifier design to aerospace reflects a natural progression toward increasingly complex and impactful challenges. The precision required in audiophile equipment - achieving -110dB THD+N - directly translates to the stringent requirements of aerospace systems. My experience with:

  • Ultra-low noise design -> Critical for satellite communications
  • Precision timing (GPSDO project) -> Essential for navigation systems
  • Reliability engineering -> Fundamental to flight-critical systems
  • Miniaturization techniques -> Valuable for weight-constrained spacecraft

Innovation Vision

I envision contributing to:

  • Next-generation satellite communication systems
  • Autonomous spacecraft navigation
  • Electric aircraft avionics
  • Deep space exploration instruments

My goal isn't just to work in aerospace - it's to push the boundaries of what's possible, making space technology more reliable, efficient, and accessible.

"Innovation should be accessible, practical, and transformative" - This philosophy will guide my entire career journey.
